A mobile phone for wearing on the wrist has a separate operating part (7) which can communicate via RF to a wrist-worn device (1). The functionality between the wrist-mounted device (1) and the operating part (7) is preferably shared such that mobile radio-reception and transmission function, e.g. UMTS, is carried out by the wrist mounted device (1), while operating is carried out by the operating part (7).
