PURPOSE: To provide a magnet of an electromagnetic sounder that is used for a surface mount electromagnetic sounder and solves problems of an insufficient magnetic force of the small sized magnet and a complicated manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION: In the electromagnetic sounder including cases 4, 6, a yoke 16 contained in the cases, a coil 18 fitted to the yoke, a diaphragm 22 placed opposite to the coil, an electromagnetic sounder magnet 20 placed between the diaphragm and the yoke to surround the coil, and conduction means 8, 10 that are conductive from the inside of the case to the outside, the electromagnetic sounder magnet 20 adopting an isotropic Sm-Fe-N plastic magnetic material is formed by an injection molding method.
