PURPOSE: A box type parking system is provided to utilize a parking area effectively and to protect vehicles safely. CONSTITUTION: The box type parking system comprises: a frame(100) having a space for installing many containers(200) longitudinally and a vehicle access gate; a container(200) piled continuously in the frame(100) and provided with a horizontal movable wheel, an upper rack and a lower rack; a reciprocating unit(300) operated vertically by a hydraulic cylinder(310) and provided with a reciprocating plate(330) reciprocated vertically; a surfacing feed unit(400) provided with a chain gear rotated by engaging with the upper or the lower rack of the container(200) to transfer the container(200) horizontally, a sprocket attached with the chain gear and a driving motor for driving the sprocket; and a control unit provided with a control box having PLC(Power Line Communication) programmed to direct the movement of the reciprocating unit(300) and the surfacing feed unit(400) according to a flow chart and many limit switches(440) for sensing the movement of the container(200) according to the direction of the PLC.
