PURPOSE: An apparatus for fixing a magnet in a deflection yoke is provided to prevent previously a floating phenomenon of a deflection yoke due to the external force by tightening the magnet with a locker ring having a screw thread. CONSTITUTION: A screw thread(112b) is formed at a holder portion(112) of a deflection yoke. A locker ring(113) is used for tightening a couple of magnets(109). The magnets(109) are tightened by a handle(113a) of the locker ring(113). Four projections(112a) are formed at the inside of the holder portion(112) of the deflection yoke. A tightening band includes a bolt in order to fix the deflection yoke to the neck portion. The screw thread(112b) of the holder portion(112) is coupled with a screw thread of the locker ring(113).
