PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable fiber processed product capable of binding fine particles having a degrading ability for organic compounds in a state thereof having the degrading ability for the organic compounds and stably maintaining the state for a long period. SOLUTION: This vegetable fiber processed product comprises the fine particles having the degrading ability for the organic compounds and the fine particles are bound to the processed product with a binding agent (binder) consisting essentially of an alkoxysilane.
