PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an olefinic resin composition having excellent antibacterial activity which is suitably utilized as the material of films and sheets particularly in the fields of foods, medical equipment, medical facilities, and pharmaceuticals. SOLUTION: The olefinic resin composition comprises an olefinic resin and an inorganic antibacterial agent and/or an organic antibacterial agent, the above olefinic resin being a copolymer of ethylene and/or anα-olefin with an alkenyl aromatic hydrocarbon.
