PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent reflected light and scattered light of stimulated light from being made incident on a photodetection surface at a low cost as for a method and a device for image signal acquisition which obtains an electric image signal by receiving the stimulated light emitted from a storage phosphor sheet. SOLUTION: When the stimulated light emitted from the storage phosphor sheet by irradiation with exciting light is received by the photodetection surface 10 of a photoelectric converting element and the electric image signal is obtained by an image signal acquiring means 15 composed of a charge transfer path 16 and an output circuit 17 according to electric charges accumulated in the photoelectric converting element, the peripheral part of the photodetection surface 10 is covered with filters 28A and 28B absorbing only blue light to receive the stimulated light.
