PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized shuttle valve device equipped with a simplified oil passage and an enhanced easiness in the installing operations. SOLUTION: The shuttle valve device 31 is structured so that steps 47A and 47B are formed on both sides of a spool 42, and a first check valve 43 to be engaged with the step 47A is arranged in the radial direction of the spool 42 while a second check valve 44 to be engaged with the other step 47B is arranged in the radial direction of the spool 42.
