PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous method for producing an optically active 2,3-dihydrobenzofuran compound useful as a medicine for prophylaxis or treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, etc. SOLUTION: This method for producing the optically active 2,3- dihydrobenzofuran compound comprises optically resolving a 2,3- dihydrobenzofuran compound represented by the formula [wherein, R<1> and R<2> denote each hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent group; R<3> denotes an aromatic group which may have a substituent group; and C-ring denotes benzene ring which may have a substituent group other than amino group] or its salt with an optically active acidic compound. |
