PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column constant temperature bath for liquid chromatograph capable of recovering from an error quickly. SOLUTION: The column constant temperature bath has a temperature control apparatus for maintaining a column 4A at a constant temperature, a gas sensor 4B for detecting the gas in the constant temperature bath 4, and an arithmetic unit 10A for outputting an alarm signal for generating an alarm when a signal that is detected by the gas sensor 4B exceeds a preset detection level, and outputting a stop signal for stopping the apparatus. An operation section 7 is made able to select either an alarm signal or a stop signal outputted by the arithmetic unit 10A.
