PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently obtain an effect of a re-burning method by suppressing the amount of a hydrocarbon fuel used which invites in rise a high cost. SOLUTION: A method for incinerating a waste comprises the step of switching a flow rate of a primary combustion air for burning an object 12 to be incinerated in a primary combustion chamber 1 by an air flow regulator 9 controlled by a timer 11. The method further comprises the step of increasing the flow rate of the primary air until a predetermined time elapses after charging. The method also comprises the step of reducing an air introducing amount after a predetermined time has elapsed. The method also comprises the steps of decreasing the air introducing amount as a whole, and reducing a residual oxygen amount. Thus, the amount of dioxins generated or the like can be decreased even when the amount of a city gas used to add from an adding gas nozzle 4 is not increased.
