PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-piece Kimono (Japanese style dress) enabling easy tuck-up of the skirt by anyone in elegant form without necessitating skilled art and giving an appearance similar to the conventional one-piece Kimono. SOLUTION: This two-piece Kimono is composed of an upper wear 1 having nearly the same form from the lower end of a collar of the Kimono to the upper part and a lower wear having the form of a wrap-around skirt and formed to a form nearly same as the part under the collar of the Kimono. A belt 11 is sewn to the back of the body part 10 of the upper wear 1 along the hem, the belt 11 has a length sufficient to be wound around the body of the wearing person in contact with the body and enabling the tying of both end part of the belt in the direction to tighten the upper wear 1. After tying the belt 11, the hem of the upper wear 1 is folded to the back side of the body to enable the formation of the tuck-up of the skirt part of the Kimono.
