PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensitive adhesive dispersed in a nonaqueous medium, having excellent balance of water resistance, adhesion to a material, cohesion, and heat resistance. SOLUTION: This pressure sensitive adhesive dispersed in a nonaqueous medium comprises a resin (I) in a nonaqueous medium obtained by polymerizing a hydroxy group-containing monomer (b1) and/or a multifunctional monomer (b2), and another ethylenically unsaturated monomer (b3) in an organic solvent, in the presence of an acrylic resin (A) having a glass transition temperature of <=-40 deg.C, the resin (A) having a hydroxy group-containing monomer (a1), and another ethylenically unsaturated monomer (a2) as a copolymerizable component.
