PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the reinforcing structure of an existing structure in which the operating efficiency of reinforcing works can be improved, cost reduced and the term of works can be shortened by decreasing the connection places of a reinforcing member and the existing structure and simplifying the details of a connection section. SOLUTION: The inverted Y-shaped reinforcing member composed of a bundle member and two diagonal members is housed on a plane of a structure between a beam as a reinforcing object and a beam on a lower floor, the head section of he bundle member is connected to a beam lower section at a site corresponding to the point of action of additional vertical load, the head sections of each diagonal member are connected to the leg section of the bundle member, and the leg sections of each diagonal member are joined with the beam-column connection sections of the beam in the lower floor and columns.
