PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge block for a bucket, which is fit for automatic welding from outside and excellent in strength. SOLUTION: In the hinge block for the bucket, a bucket plate (8), the hinge block, which is brought into contact with the bucket plate (8), and a hinge plate, which is brought into contact with the bucket plate (8) via the hinge block in between, are fixed by welding. A lower end of the hinge block is constituted in such a manner as to be expanded to a vicinity of an edge, in a width direction, of the hinge plate.
