PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fixing method of a reflecting mirror which can suppress deterioration in mirror surface precision caused by fixing support metal fittings to the reflecting mirror by tightening a bolt. SOLUTION: After the support metal fittings 3 interposed between the reflecting mirror 11 composed of a mirror body 1 and an interface pad 2 arranged on its mirror body flank 1b and a fixing mechanism are adhered to the interface pad 2 by using an adhesive, the mirror surface 1a is polished to obtain a requested precision and then the interface pad 2 and support metal fittings 3 are clamped and fixed with the bolt. Then, a projection part 3a provided on the support metal fittings 3 is engaged with the fixing mechanism and the reflecting mirror 11 is fixed to the fixing mechanism. |
