PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional roller pump implementing a pumping operation by pressurizing and closing an elastic tube by a roller rotating device using a brushless DC motor as its driving source and decelerating to a necessary speed using a separate-constituting reduction gear with a relatively large reduction ratio so as to provide a narrow speed change range, have a large volume, and cause large gear noise. SOLUTION: This roller pump uses a stepping motor equipped with a speed sensor as the driving source, and the reduction gear with a small reduction ratio is integrally formed of a pump housing. This constitution can provide the low-cost roller pump with a large speed change range and less gear noise and vibration.
