PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning device and its control method, in which even in a wide room using a plurality of indoor machines, energy-saving operation can be effected, depending upon a state of persons being present in a room. SOLUTION: A plurality of indoor machines 7, situated in a dispersion state, are provided in a room 10, having a plurality of apparatuses 2 and 32 connected to a network; individual positional relation between a plurality of apparatuses 2 and 3 and a plurality of indoor machines 7 is held as data; a control device 4 is provided to recognize the operation states of each of a plurality of the apparatuses 2 and 3 in the network 1, and control the operation state of the individual indoor machine 7 of a plurality of indoor machines 7.
