PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation method for phosphor layer application liquid capable of reducing the level of structure noise and manufacturing a radiological image conversion panel of good image quality, and a manufacturing method for radiological image conversion panel. SOLUTION: (1) This preparation method for phosphor layer application liquid for radiological image conversion panel comprises a baking process for baking a phosphor raw material powder to obtain a phosphorescent phosphor powder, and a solution preparation process for dispersing the obtained phosphorescent phosphor powder in a solvent having a binder dissolved therein, and the phosphor raw material powder is managed by the degree of dispersion. Otherwise, (2) this preparation method for phosphor layer application liquid for radiological image conversion panel comprises a solution preparation process for dispersing at least a phosphorescent phosphor powder in a solvent with a binder dissolved therein, and in the preparation process, the phosphorescent phosphor powder to be dispersed in the solvent is managed by the degree of dispersion. (3) This manufacturing method for radiological image conversion panel comprises forming a phosphor layer formed of the phosphor layer application liquid obtained according to either one of the preparation methods (1) and (2) on a support body.
