PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reinforcing hardware for a wooden building providing a well-balanced, stable reinforcing structure for the wooden building and enhancing the overall strength thereof by enhancing earthquake resistance, and avoiding localization of forces to prevent buckling, with these purposes accomplished along with excellent construction properties. SOLUTION: The reinforcing hardware 1 is formed as an integral one in the form of an approximately rectangular frame comprising two of upper and lower horizontal members 4, two of right and left vertical members 5, and two of right and left diagonal members 6. The horizontal members 4, the vertical members 5 and the diagonal members 6 are welded end-to-end, and an L-shaped angle hardware 9 and a rectangular hardware 10 are alternatively used according to applications. For example, the rectangular hardware 10 is used as the horizontal member 4 and the L-shaped angle hardware 9 as the vertical member 5 and the diagonal member 6. To reinforce a wooden building A, they are arranged on the peripheral edge of a space defined by beams E, a sill C, and columns D; the horizontal members 4 are integrally secured to the beams E and the sill C and the vertical members 5 to the columns D.
