<p>The invention concerns a system for transmitting data through a synchronous network, said system comprising at least a transmitter equipment and at least a receiver equipment, said data being supplied at the input of said receiver equipment to be inserted in concatenated virtual containers which are themselves inserted in synchronous frames to be transmitted to said receiver equipment. The invention is characterised in that said transmitter equipment comprises a unit measuring the data input rate and a parametering unit which deduces from the measurement carried out by said measuring unit the total number of low order virtual containers to be virtually concatenated for transporting said dataflow into said frames, the header of each concatenated container bearing a message indicating the total number of concatenated containers and the rank number of said container among said concatenated containers, said receiver equipment only delivering the containers bearing said message, and doing so in the order indicated by said message.</p> |
