摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unevenness of the light intensity distribution of a surface- shaped lighted body accompanying in-surface light intensity distribution unevenness of an array of light sources or the light sources. SOLUTION: The lighting device which illuminates the surface-shaped lighted body 4 with lights emitted by the light sources (for example, LED chips 2a to 2d) arrayed in a surface shape in a specific interval range to high density is provided with an optical means such as an imaging lens 3 which images a surface different from the surface-shaped lighted body 4 as an image surface 5 nearby the surface-shaped lighted body 4 providing that the surface where the light sources 2a to 2d are arrayed is an object surface. For example, an on-surface irradiated body 4 is arranged behind the image surface. Images of the respective light sources are defocused, i.e. have wavefront aberrations due to the defocusing and become much larger than the size of the original LED chips 2a to 2d, so that the light intensity distribution of the surface-shaped lighted body 4 is made uniform.
