PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier in which an electrical equipment accommodation portion is rendered thin and air volume is enlarged increased, without having to dimensionally enlarge the depth of a dehumidifier body. SOLUTION: The dehumidifier body 5 is provided in the inside with a dehumidifying means 1 and a fan motor 2, and at the front upper part, with a display panel 7 which is provided with a display 6, which is orientated obliquely and upwardly. An electrical equipment base plate 8 is provided at the rear surface of the panel 7, being substantially parallel to the panel 7; a protective cover 14 is provided on the rear surface of the plate 8 for covering the same, being substantially parallel to the plate 8; and by disposing the cover 14 to form a portion of an air channel of the fan motor 2, the air volume of the dehumidifier is increased. |
