PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller for a pump further increasing boosting by suppressing a parasitic vortex of a fluid in the impeller and strengthening a vortex. SOLUTION: This impeller 42 for the pump constituted by forming a vane part in its circumferential edge part is rotatably provided in a casing formed of a first casing 22 and a second casing 32. One channel 24 and the other cannel 34 having an inlet 23 and an outlet 33 in respective positions facing to the both casings 22 and 32 and the vane part 45 are circumferentially provided. This impeller is also provided with, at least, a single arch 47 communicating the vane part 45 from one channel to the other channel via the impeller 42 so as to allow the fluid 71 to flow out/in, erected over a vane groove 46, or a clearance of the adjoining vanes parts 45, formed of a pressure face 45a of the vane part 45 in the rotating direction side of the impeller 42 and a negative pressure surface 45b in the rear side of the pressure surface 45.
