PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breakwater caisson which is light in weight, and excellent in overturning drag and moving drag. SOLUTION: According to the breakwater caisson, footings 13 are fixed to a caisson main body 12 at locations intermediate between a lower bed 12 and an upper bed of the main body, and mound fitting portions 14 are formed on a lower side of footing 13 fixed portions of the caisson main body 12.
