PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitting method of knitting by hand by which the fault of Afghan stitch not being familiar though the conventional Afghan stitch has beautiful stitch and provides stable knitted fabric, and the fault of crochet causing the opening of the intervals of stitches knitted only by large stitches can be overcome. SOLUTION: This knitting method comprises knitting the Afghan stitch by using a short crochet hook by mixing the conventional Afghan stitch and the crochet. As a result, a work of beautiful knitted fabric with little stitch- forming is produced. The knitting is also easy and simple. A method of commercializing not achieved by the conventional knitting method can be achieved by utilizing the knitting method.
