A crop lifter for reaping systems of harvesting machines, which have a bed plate 1 with projectingly attached reaping fingers 2, comprising an elastically bendable support bar 5 with a first end 6 and a second end 7. First end 6 serves for retaining on bed plate 1, a grain lifter 8, which is connected to second end 7 of support bar 5. A holder 10 has legs, projectingly arranged from the face of support bar 5 facing to grain lifter 8, which serve for receiving reaping finger 2 between them. By which, support bar 5 is supportable on reaping finger 2 in the direction towards support bar 5, wherein support bar 5 is provided in an area, which is opposed to the portion of reaping finger 2 taking up the holder 10. There is a bend 13, so that the portions on both sides of bend 13 enclose an angle opening towards grain lifter 8.
