SOLUTION: A reference space is created according to the density and color value of an image group determined to be good, the density and color value of a color patch and a grid pattern provided in an image to be evaluated are measured and input (122), the distance of Mahalanobis of measured density and color value of the color patch and the grit pattern is computed according to the reference space (124), and the quality of the Mahalanobis is a higher than designated value or not (126).
