<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slag treatment process by which fluorine in slag is inhibited from being eluted out of the slag. SOLUTION: This treatment process comprises adding waste Al2 O3 -based brick to lumps of steelmaking slag containing calcium and fluorine, (steps a1 and a2 in the Figure), crushing the mixture of the steelmaking slag and waste Al2 O3 -based brick by dry treatment to obtain a granular material, (steps a3 to a5), and separating and recovering metals in the granular material, (step a6) after the dry treatment, grinding the resulting granular material by wet treatment using water, (steps a7 and a8), and separating and recovering metals in the ground granular material, (steps a9 to a13 and a16 and a17), and after the wet treatment, curing the resulting granular material, (steps a14, a15, a18 and a19), wherein, since calcium ion, aluminum ion and fluorine ion, each eluted in the presence of water, are reached with each other to form hardly soluble compounds, elution of the fluorine from the slag can be inhibited from being caused.</p> |
