PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and easily attachable optical module, and an electric/optic wiring board. SOLUTION: The optical module is equipped with an electro-optic conversion element 3 such as a light emitting element or a light receiving element, a substrate 2 for the module on which the electro-optic conversion element 3 is mounted, and a light guide 1 for raising optically coupled to the electro-optic conversion element 3. The light guide 1 for raising is optically coupled to the electro-optic conversion element 3 through a through hole 4 formed on the substrate 2 for the module. A support reinforcing body 5 is provided on the substrate 2 for the module so that the substrate 2 may stably be attached to the electro-optic wiring board.
