PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device, a process cartridge, and an electrophotographic imaging device, capable of sequentially detecting the residual amount of developer with accuracy. SOLUTION: The developing device 4, which comprises a developing member 4a, and a plurality of electrodes 31, 32 arranged almost in parallel along the longitudinal direction of the developing member 4a is provided, where voltage is applied at least to the developing member 4a or one of the electrodes 31, 32 for the purpose of detecting a remaining amount of the developer by the electrophotographic imaging device 100; and the developing device 4 generates an electrical signal according to capacitance between the developing member 4a and the electrode 31 and/or between the electrodes 31, 32, is constructed, so that the longitudinal length (L2) of at least one of the electrodes 31, 32 is longer than a developer feeding area (G) of the developing member 4a. |
