PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser module in which the optical coupling efficiency of a semiconductor laser and an optical fiber is excellent and long- term reliability is high. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser 1 and the optical fiber 4 are oppositely arranged, the optical fiber 4 is inserted to a ferrule while projecting a lens part 14 on a tip side from a ferrule 3 and the ferrule 3 is fixed to a base 2 through fixing members 6 and 7 provided with an interval from each other in the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber 4. A first fixing member 6 for supporting the ferrule 3 at a position near the semiconductor laser 1 is provided with a supporting member fitting part 17 with a hole part 25 for inserting and fitting the ferrule 3, a fixing block part 18 arranged on both sides for clamping the supporting member fitting part 17 with the interval from a direction crossing the optical fiber longitudinal direction and a beam part 16 for connecting the fixing block part 18 and the supporting member fitting part 17. The ferrule 3 is tilted by the principle of a lever with the beam part 16 as a fulcrum and the semiconductor laser 1 and the optical fiber 4 are aligned.
