摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for specifying a threshold of cavitation impact force inherent in a material, a method for predicting the erosion amount caused by cavitation jet, and a device for quantitatively predicting the erosion amount caused by cavitation jet. SOLUTION: By varying the condition of cavitation jet, the erosion ratio every condition is measured, a polymer piezoelectric film sensor is stuck on the surface of a test piece, the condition of the cavitation jet is varied, and the threshold (intensity) of the cavitation impact force producing damage every inherent material is specified. At the same time, the relation between impact energy and the erosion ratio is obtained, and the collapse impact force of cavitation bubbles is quantitatively predicted from the relation of the cavitation impact energy; the threshold of the cavitation impact force producing damage every inherent material; and the relation between the impact energy and the erosion ratio.
