PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring the shape of a tunnel pit which allows the number of targets installed in the tunnel pit to be reduced and easily measures the tunnel shape in detail. SOLUTION: The method of measuring the shape of a tunnel pit, using the shape measurement with light rays and the photogrammetry, comprises dividing the tunnel pit into a plurality of measuring sections, installing optically discriminable targets on the inner walls of the measuring sections or with specified spacings, measuring the shape with a slit light in each measuring section, taking the picture of the tunnel pit interior in each measuring section at changed angles to obtain a plurality of pictures including the optically discriminable targets pictures, calculating the three-dimensional coordinates of each target with a common reference using the optically discriminable target picture involved in the taken picture and joining the measuring sections of measuring the shape by the slit light into a whole shape of the tunnel pit, using the three- dimensional coordinates of each target.
