PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant circuit switching device for replacing the refrigerant of an existing refrigeration cycle device, in which the refrigerant of the conventional arts such as CFC, HCFC, or the like is used with a new refrigerant, such as HFC which is deemed to be free of problems relating to environmental protection with respect to cost and environment. SOLUTION: A flow regulator side solenoid valve 19a and a heat exchanger side solenoid valve 19b are respectively connected to connection pipes C and D connected to both ends of an indoor unit B. A bypass passage unit F, having a bypass solenoid valve 19c, is respectively connected to connection ends opposite to the indoor unit connection ends of the solenoid valves 19a and 19b. The solenoid valves 19a and 19b are closed when being energized, and the solenoid valve 19c is opened when being energized.
