PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that can shorten a warming-up time, has a simple structure of a heat generating body, and hardly causes the deterioration of image quality in the case of fixing a large-sized paper after performing the fixing operation of a small-sized paper by efficiently dissipating heat from both end parts of a heating rotating body. SOLUTION: At least one pressure rotating bodies among a plurality of pressure rotating bodies are used for pressure rotating bodies 20B and 20C for small-sized paper, and the heat conductivity at both end parts 22 of a part 21 corresponding to the small-sized paper passing area is made larger than that at the part corresponding to the paper passing area in the axial direction. Each of the pressure rotating bodies for small-sized paper is constituted so that the length in its axial direction is shortened suitable for the small-sized paper.
