PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a smell from a dried substance in a way that even a fat and fatty oil component contained in an object to be disposed is solidified and disposed in a granule state, and provide an increased life for a device by providing corrosion preventing operation even on chlorine. SOLUTION: After a substance to be dried is charged in a vacuum drier 1, a saponifying agent, such as sodium hydroxide, slaked lime, calcium carbide, sodium carbonate, and potassium hydroxide is charged and after-processing containing a drying process is effected. The saponifying agent forms a water solution in an amount calculated in conformity to a charge amount of the substance to be dried, and is automatically charged through a feed means 9. The vacuum machine 1 has an internal part brought into a vacuum and a heating medium flows in the internal part, and a device forms a double structure 3 and is also heated from an external part. An automatic charging device for the saponifying water solution is annexed.
