PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably facilitate the replacement of a refractory fitted to a slag discharge port, and also to prevent molten matter passing the slag discharge port from solidifying, in the slag discharge port device for molten matter in a fusing combustion furnace for burning waste. SOLUTION: This slag discharge port device is equipped with a refractory 3 which is mounted at the sidewall near the bottom of the fusing combustion furnace 1 and has a slag discharge port 2, and a cooling means 4 which has a nearly horseshoe form and is detachably mounted at the outside face of the refractory 3 in contact with the outside face of the refractory 3 with its open part directed downward and is cooled by the through flow of compressed air.
