PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for gasifying and melting a waste capable of retaining re-scattering to a slight amount even when a dropping ash is charged in a gasifying melting furnace and avoiding a problem point brought about when a solidifying material is added to the ash to a solid matter and its facility. SOLUTION: The method for gasifying and melting the waste comprises the steps of thermally decomposing the waste, gasifying the waste, and melting its residue. The method further comprises the steps of pressure-molding the dropped ash recovered from a unit disposed between the gasifying melting furnace 10 and an exhaust gas dust collector 45 to a molding, and charging the molding in the melting furnace 10.
