PURPOSE: A method for printing identification mark for cable insulator is provided to improve productivity and reduce defective ratio by preventing the identification mark from being easily erased, while reducing cost by eliminating the need of using an expensive surface processing machine. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step(S10) of coating a conductor with an insulator and producing a cable; a second step(S12) of increasing a surface energy of insulator of the produced cable such that the insulator is easily coated with an ink, by permitting the cable to pass through a spark tester so as to cause a high-frequency discharge at the surface of the insulator; and a third step(S14) of printing identification mark at the surface of the insulator. Since the surface of cable insulator is treated with a high-frequency discharge, the identification mark printed at the surface of cable insulator is prevented from being easily erased.
