PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer belt, having a surface layer which is small in the coefficient of friction with a cleaning blade from the beginning of use and prevents the coefficient of friction from increasing in spite of long-term use, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same and a method of manufacturing the transfer belt, using an aqueous coating material which does not require processing equipment for organic solvent. SOLUTION: The transfer belt, which has a belt base material layer formed of a semiconductor rubber-like elastic body and a surface layer on the front surface side, the surface layer of which consists of polyurethane crosslinked by a carbodiimide compound as a binder component is provided. The surface layer preferably contains a fine powder of polytetrafluoroethylene. |
