METHOD FOR MODIFIED FLUORORESIN PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for modified fluororesin production, with which deterioration of fluororesin in radiation exposure can be prevented. SOLUTION: This method for modified fluororesin production comprises starting irradiation of a fluororesin with ionizing radiation in an inert gas atmosphere in an oxygen concentration of <=100 torr at a temperature equal to or lower than the melting point of the fluororesin and then irradiating the fluororesin with ionizing radiation at a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the fluororesin.
