PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent loading inferiority (getting creep between tray and loading wall of fold sheet, improper detection of paper surface by rear end buckling of fold sheet, etc.), in a loading condition of a sheet, in the case of resetting a tray from a lower limit position. SOLUTION: This sheet processor has a stack tray 600 capable of lifting selectively applied with a prescribed process to load a sheet discharged, a sheet presence detection sensor S606b detecting presence of the sheet on the stack tray 600, and a control part 718 controlling a lift position of the stack tray 600, the stack tray 600 is characterized by constituting it movable to a first position T1 which is a sheet discharge position, a second position T2 lower than the first position T1, and a third position T3 which is a lower limit position lower than the second position T2, and the stack tray 600 is characterized by constituting it so as to change a rise up position after lowering down to the lower limit position T3 by the presence of the sheet on this stack tray 600.
