Needle 21 acts as an openable closure to allow liquid under pressure into space 19a and thence through cavity 19 and ports 20 to passageway 18, emerging as a spray, which may be further atomised by jets of air issuing parallel to and transverse to the direction of flow of the liquid, particularly when the nozzle is incorporated in a spray gun. |
