<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain porous silica adsorbing a large amount of water and easily adsorbing and desorbing water, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same and use of the same. SOLUTION: The porous silica, containing a group IV transition metal and maintaining lamellar structure after sintering, and its film are synthesized. Also, an adsorbent, generating practically no change in porous structure due to repetition of adsorption and adsorption of water, being excellent in water resistance and composed of porous silica containing a fluorine atom, is synthesized.</p> |
