PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tow-dimensional scanning infrared temperature measuring device which is reduced in size, simplified and made inexpensive. SOLUTION: An infrared element 8 is fixed to a circular motion body formed by an X-axis rotor 4, a Y-axis rotor 5, an X-axis pin 3 and a Y-axis pin 6, and rotation of a motor 11 is transmitted as vortex motion to the circular motion body by a rotation-vortex converting mechanism, whereby the center line 8a of light receiving visual field of the infrared element 8 makes a vortex motion to become two-dimensional scanning in which the radius r of polar coordinates and the circumferential directionθare simultaneously increased or decreased. Accordingly, small-sized, simple, high reliability and inexpensive two-dimensional infrared temperature measuring device can be realized leaving only one motor 11 and one infrared element 8.
