PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated white cardboard exhibiting a good surface feeling of the reverse surface of the coated white cardboard obtained by blending much low whiteness waste paper pulp in its reverse layer, also a good ink color developing property and ink gross on printing the reverse surface and less white missing parts in the printed surface. SOLUTION: This coated whit cardboard obtained by the paper making of >=2 layers, also having <=65% whiteness of its reverse layer peeled surface after peeling the reverse layer, and coating a pigment coating composition on its surface layer, drying and smooth-treating, is provided by coating >=0.5 g/m<2> and <3.0 g/m<2> pigment coating composition on the reverse surface, and exhibiting <=8.50 variation coefficient of whiteness distribution of very small areas on the reverse layer coated surface and <=(±)10% difference of the reverse surface whiteness and the whiteness of the reverse layer peeled surface after peeling off the reverse layer.
