PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening mechanism capable of providing high fastening force with simple operation. SOLUTION: When a lever part 35 is operated and a rotary arm 28 is rotated in the direction to separate a second pin 34 from a locking part 22, a hook arm 30 is guided and moved to a guide part 36 through a lock arm 32, whereby the hook part 30a is automatically locked on the locking part 22 during the movement, and the fastening of the locking part 22 and a spindle 25 is started. Further the returning of the lock arm 32 is locked while keeping a fastening condition of the locking part 22 and the spindle 25 by abutting the lock arm 32 on the stopper at a position slightly over a maximum fastening position where the second pin 34 is located at a maximum distance with respect to the locking part 22 on an extension line connecting the locking part 22 and the spindle 25.
