PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a building structure using glass by providing a glass mounting device which enables easy replacement or adjustment of the glass in itself, a supporting auxiliary member such as packing, various types of members constituting a holding frame for the glass, and the like. SOLUTION: The glass mounting device for making the glass 1 held for support in a sandwiched manner is provided with a surface member 21 which is provided on one side of the glass 1, a supporting member 22 which is provided on the other side of the glass, joining members (a bolt 25, a spacer and a nut 26) which can vary an interval between the surface member 21 and the supporting member 22, the first supporting auxiliary member 20 which is provided between the glass 1 and the surface member 21, and the second supporting auxiliary member 20 which is provided between the glass 1 and the supporting member 22. The surface member 21 and the supporting member 22 are separated from each other by the joining members so as to enable the first or second supporting auxiliary member 20 to be removed individually.
