PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance installing strength of a roof board in a roof for obtaining a soundproof-heat insulating effect by arranging a ceiling board between a backing material and the roof board composed of a metallic folded plate. SOLUTION: This roof board installing tool 1 forms a joint part 3 for holding an end part of a long size ceiling board support tool 4 having laterally support step parts (fixing grooves 4b) for supporting an edge part of the ceiling board 5 for holding the ceiling board 5 between the backing material 2 and the roof board 6 installed in a lower part of a fixing member 7 fixed on the backing material 2. The fixing member 7 has rising parts 6c obliquely rising from both left and right sides of a flat part 6a for pressing down an upper surface of the ceiling board 5. A movable member 8 having a fitting projection part 9 fitted from the inside surface side to a fitting part 6c for installing the roof board 6 having the fitting part 6b swelling to the outside surface side in the rising parts 6c, is installed to be laterally slidable on the fixing member 7 by fitting from above the roof board 6, and to be nonseparable from the fixing member 7.
